Shipping policy

Delivery address
During checkout you can enter a delivery address for your Microbiome 360° test kit. It may differ from the billing address. Shipping is organised by Bactera GmbH.

Delivery countries and shipping costs
We ship to Germany, to all other member states of the European Union and to Switzerland.

  • Germany: free shipping.
  • Other EU member states: €18.99 per order.
  • Switzerland: €18.99 per order. Deliveries to Switzerland may be subject to import charges (customs duties, import VAT), which are payable by the recipient.

All shipping costs are final prices including statutory VAT. No further shipping costs apply.

Dispatch and delivery time
We usually dispatch ordered test kits within 24 hours of receipt of payment, on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Delivery takes 1 to 3 working days within Germany, 3 to 7 working days to other EU member states and 5 to 10 working days to Switzerland, in each case from receipt of payment. You will receive a shipping confirmation by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Free return of your sample
Returning your stool sample to our laboratory is free of charge from all delivery countries. Use the prepaid return material included in the test kit and hand the shipment to your national postal service. Transport can take between a few days and several weeks depending on the country. The sample tube contains a preservation solution that stabilises the microorganisms for transport without refrigeration, for several months and regardless of the season. Provided the sample is collected and sealed as instructed, postal transport therefore does not affect your results.

Note: this free return applies to the sample. Returning an unopened test kit in the event of a withdrawal is governed by our withdrawal policy.

If a sample is not sufficient
If the quality or quantity of the submitted stool sample is not sufficient for analysis, we will inform you by email and ask you to collect a new sample. The replacement kit and the repeat analysis are free of charge for you.
